Frances Pitman

Frances Pitman, age 98, of Whiting and West Milford, NJ, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013. Mrs. Pitman was born in Lyndhurst, NJ the daughter of the late Fred and the late Mary (Filan) Kiechele. She served in the Navy from 1944 to 1945 during World War II, was a member of the Comfort Group Crochet Club at Community Hospital in Toms River and loved to oil paint. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Robin Pitman Cheeseman, her cherished granddaughter, Erin Cordero, an adored great granddaughter, Talia Cordero, a loving sister, Josephine Joyce and nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be held Tuesday, September 10th, 2013, from 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 12noon at St. Joseph's RC Church, West Milford, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Milford, NJ.
