Jeanette S. Burns

Jeanette S. Burns, 93, of Butler, NJ, passed away on December 10th, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette was born in Butler, daughter of the late George and Gertrude Sindle. She was a telephone operator for NJ Bell and Pioneer in Riverdale, NJ , a former member of the Church of the Nazarene and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. Mrs. Burns is survived by her beloved children, George Burns and wife Linda, Trudie Burns and spouse Loretta Miraglia and Jeanette Shahenkari and husband Mohamed, her cherished grandchildren, Mohamed C. Shahenkari, Paige Gebhardt, Heather Burns, Tammy Soit and Linda Ancillai and husband Jason, eight adored great grandchildren and one dear great-great-grandchild. Jeanette was predeceased by her dear daughter, Ruthanne Burns-Helbig and her devoted husband, Charles Burns. Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:30 am also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
