Robert F. McGoldrick, age 66, of Butler, formerly of Riverdale, NY entered into eternal rest, Sunday, March 11, 2018. Mr. McGoldrick was born September 25, 1951 in Manhattan, NY, the son of Mary (Gilbride) McGoldrick and William McGoldrick. He married his wife Donna Susan (Caputo) McGoldrick September 15, 1974 at St. Barnabas RC Church, Bronx, NY. He was employed as a Senior Vice President by Folksamerica Reinsurance until he retired in 2002. Mr. McGoldrick was a member of many basketball leagues, enjoyed time at the beach, was an avid bicyclist, and cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Beloved father of Kara Codio and husband Monge, and Matthew McGoldrick and wife Caroline. Adored grandfather of Jordana, Cameron, Tayton and Madison. Loving brother of Stephen and wife Jean, and Kay and husband Dave. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews and dear friends. Robert was predeceased by his wife Donna, parents William and Mary, and brother Billy. Visiting hours will be Friday, March 16 from 4:00-8:00 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. Burial will be on Saturday following the mass at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler.
