Thelma Roach

Thelma Roach, age 97, of Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, formerly of Butler, died Sunday, March 29, 2014. Mrs. Roach was born in Butler, NJ the daughter of the late Peter Joseph and the late Rose (Casey) Reichwein. She was a Registered Nurse for the Butler Board Of Education in Butler and was a parishioner and member of the Rosary Society at St. Anthony RC Church also in Butler. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara Hurt and husband Kevin, a loving sister, Catherine Reichwein, seven cherished grandchildren and seventeen adored great grand children. Also surviving are a niece and a nephew. Thelma was pre deceased by devoted husband Maxie, a beloved step daughter Marie McArthur and her loving siblings, Charolotte De Puyt, Rita Pignatello, Antoinette Reichwein and Joseph Reichwein. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, April 1st, 2014 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday 11:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
