Albert Christmann

Albert Christmann, age 72, of Ogdensburg, formerly of Wayne, on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.Mr. Christmann was born in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Albert and the late Mary (Vreeland) Christmann. He was a Navy veteran. Mr. Christmann was a Past President Pompton Plains Rotary Club, former owner of Van Dorsten Company, Pompton Plains, NJ, and also worked at All State Excavating Sussex, NJ as a Heavy Machine Operator.He is survived by his wife, Rose (Chapman) Christmann, seven children, Albert Christmann III and wife Heidi, Wendy Christmann-Bamper and husband Dan, Dan Thoma and wife Sandy, Richard Christmann, Thomas Thoma and wife Denise, Robert Thoma and wife Rhonda,and Brian Christmann and wife Danielle. Cherished grandfather of 14, and great grandfather of 3. Loving brother of Hazel Meyer. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Sunday, January 20th, 2008, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be Monday 10:00am also at the funeral home.
