Alexander J Taggart

Alexander John Taggart, 51, of Bloomingdale passed away Friday August 13, 2021. Alex was a father, son, uncle, and brother. He was a graduate of Butler High School and worked for many years for Bulkmatic Trucking. He was an avid sports fanloving his New York Yankees, New York Rangers, and his beloved Miami Dolphins, along with whatever teams the kids played for. Alex enjoyed working in the yard, growing tomato plants, and watching NASCAR. He loved taking his nephews on adventures in the woods and supporting the kids at sporting events. He was a fan of country music before country music was a thing to like, old movies, Jeopardy, and the Sunday comics. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, #943. He loved the Jersey shore and spending time with family. He was a kind and funny person, with a generous heart. He is survived by his two amazing children, Matthew and Julia Taggart of Red Bank; his devoted parents, Ann and Al Taggart of Bloomingdale; his sister, Annmarie and her husband Ryan Donnelly of Randolph; his sister, Alicia and her husband Frank Yodice of Bayville; nieces and nephews: Braeden, Madelyn, and Jamie Donnelly, and Rocco and Matteo Yodice; many cousins and lifelong friends. Visitation will be held August 19, 2021, from 4 pm-8 pm, at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, New Jersey. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anthonys of Padua RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, New Jersey on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 11:00 am. Final disposition will be Private.
