Alice Loretta Gormley, age 100, of Butler, NJ, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, March 14, 2009 at her home in Butler. Mrs. Gormley was born in West Milford, NJ the daughter of the late Martin and the late Nora (Marion) Struble. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church as well as a member of its Rosary Altar Society. Alice was a Third Order Secular Franciscan and worked for American Hard Rubber Co., and Kinney Kelly Cleaners in Butler. She was a wonderful person who volunteered for many charitable organizations. She is survived by her beloved children, Donald Gormley and wife Joan, Rosanna Gormley, Elizabeth Riemer and husband William, and Patricia Connors and husband Michael, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and six great great children. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Alice was pre deceased by her devoted husband John, a loving son Robert, and two grandsons, Donald Gormley Jr., and Freddy Riemer. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, March 18th, 2009, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. Burial will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
