Alice M. Scarmazzo

Alice M. Scarmazzo, age 95, of Bloomingdale, formerlyof Paterson, entered into eternal peace, Wednesday,December 27, 2006 at Chilton Memorial Hospital,Pompton Plains.Mrs. Scarmazzo was born January 4, 1911 at Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Ervie and the late Minnie(Boessneck) Wanamaker. She married the late CharlesScarmazzo on April 27, 1929, in St. Mary's RC Church,Paterson, N.J. She was a special person and a wonderful homemaker.Mrs. Scarmazzo was a member of The American LegionPost 154, Butler,NJ, Ladies Auxillary.Devoted wife of the late Charles. Beloved mother ofLawrence and wife Rosemary, Joan Handling and husbandBill, Charles and wife Gerd, Paul and wife Erica, andthe late Ronald. Cherished grandmother of eleven,great-grandmother of fourteen, andgreat-great-grandmother of one. Also survived by manynieces and nephews.Calling hours will be Friday, December 29, 2006, from7:00-9:00 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
