Alma M Koontz

Alma M. Koontz, 91, of Kinnelon, passed away July 16, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Alma was born in Kinnelon, NJ, daughter of the late Mark and Alice Whritenour. Alma was one of the original parishioners of Our Lady of The Magnificat Church and a former member of the Kinnelon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Alma worked as a bookkeeper before devoting her life to her family as a homemaker. She is survived by her beloved children, Nancy Neeley and husband Harold, John and wife Michele, Alan and wife Maria, and Sandra Picco and husband Henry, daughter in law, Terry, her loving sister, Isabelle Spellmon, her cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Paul, Jennifer, Rachel, Jessica, Jason, Adam, Alan, Ethan and Robert and her adored great grandchildren, Riley, Juan Carlos, Austin, Bryce and Joaquin. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Alma was predeceased by her devoted husband, Paul and her dear son, Paul Jr. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 4 to 7 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, 11 AM, at the Our Lady of The Magnificat Chapel in Kinnelon. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
