Andrew Lanterman

Andrew Lanterman, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 2nd, after a brief illness. He was a resident of West Milford, formerly of Butler, and was the son of the late Herbert and Bessie Lanterman, born January 17, 1920 in Popeville, New Jersey. Andrew was an army veteran of World War II and a POW. He was retired as a machinist and an employee of the Butler Board of Education. Andrew is pre-deceased by his wife, Thelma Soules Lanterman; son Donald Lanterman; sister Betty Lanterman Soules; and two brothers, Harry and Herman Lanterman. He is survived by his daughter, Glenda Dean and her husband Earl, and his grandchildren, Kimberlie and Andrea Dean, Thane Lanterman, Tiffeny Ploggi Lanterman and Cheyenne Crews. He is also survived by two brothers, Frank and Donald and two sisters, Rose and Barbara from a second marriage. Viewing hours will be held Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. Final Disposition will be private.
