Andrew R. 'Bucky' Bukoveski

Andrew R. Bukoveski "Bucky", age 87, of Whiting, formerly of Bergenfield, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.Mr. Bukoveski was born September 18, 1918 at Cliffside Park, NJ the son of the late Andrew and the late Anna (Zimmerman) Bukoveski. He married the late Ethel Marie (nee Gerrity) in January 10, 1943, at the Presbyterian Church, Union City, N.J. He was retired from Celetex Allied Chemical Corp. Edgewater, NJ in 1975.Mr. Bukoveski was a member of VFW Bergenfield, N.J., WWII Veteran of the Army, saw combat action in Normandy, Northern France, and Central Europe, and was a recipent of the Bronze Star.He is survived by his daughter, Janice Olsommer and her husband Richard, a grandson, Ryan Olsommer and his fianc Christy Van Jaekel, one sister, Ann Fehring, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 27th , 2006, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be held Monday 11:00am also at the funeral home.Burial to follow the service at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus on Monday at 12:30 pm.
