Anthony Niemiec

Anthony Niemiec, age 90, of Butler, died Monday, September 16, 2013. Mr. Niemiec was born in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Frank and the late Katherine (Franczyk) Niemiec. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1946 during World War II, was a member of American Legion Post #379 and made frequent visits to Bills Tavern. He worked for Arrow Group, Wanaque, NJ in the shipping and receiving department. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Regina Connell and husband Doug and Patty Horne and husband Dave, a loving brother, George Niemiec, four cherished grandchildren, Tom and Joe Connell and Chris and Tracy Horne and one adored great grandchild, Mackenzie Connell. Anthony was pre deceased by his devoted wife Constance. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, September 18th , from 3pm to 7pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
