Antoinette Kajor

Antoinette Kajor, ne Grasso, peacefully met the Lord and became one of His angels on Friday , December 11, 2020. She was 97 years with a young soul. She was born at home in Riverdale to the late Michael and Josephine Grasso. A lifelong resident of Riverdale, she was predeceased by her loving husband Alexander in 1995. They had three sons, Michael, Ronald and wife Donna and Mark and his wife Lee Ann. Also surviving is a cherished grandchild, one adored great grandchild and many nieces and nephews that she loved very dearly. She enjoyed all the family gatherings on Sundays where her nine brothers and sisters, with their children, would come over to their father's house for 12 noon lunch and don't be late. She was always very happy, friendly, and considerate to others, willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed taking her nieces and nephews to the Sunday matinee movies at the Colonial theater in Pompton Lakes, NJ. She worked for the Applicator Co. and Riverdale Plastics, both in Riverdale, where she walked to work every day. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department and Senior Citizens of Riverdale and a parishioner of St. Marys' RC Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. She was a blessing to our family and many others. She will be truly be missed. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family to offset their expenses. .
