Antoinette Russo

Antoinette Russo, age 83, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Mrs. Russo was born in West Orange, NJ, the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Rose (Murano) Liantonio. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church in Butler; and worked in retail sales at Bamberger's and Dress Barn in Wayne before retiring. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting beautiful things for her family. Mrs. Russo loved fashion and jewelry and had a gift for always looking well put together and stylish. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and wife, with a contagious smile, a gentle heart, and a kind, generous, and thoughtful spirit. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 loving years, Joseph Russo, and her beloved children, Gail Russo; Sharon Conti and husband Joseph, and JoAnn Donatone and husband Nicholas; four cherished grandchildren whom she adored and was very proud of, Andrew and Daniel Conti, and Marissa Donatone (and fiance Christopher Drobish), and Stephanie Donatone. Viewing hours will be Sunday, February 17th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm, at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be held on Monday, February 18th, at 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of New Jersey.
