Antoniette Koshykar

Antoniette's strength as a person was expressed best through the remarkable quality of her dealings with people -- her ability to make all human encounters, feel both special and personal. 

Antoniette was born April 7, 1963 in Naples, Italy, the daughter of the late Thomas and survived by her mother Giovannna (Miglacco) Colucci. From those humble roots grew the force of a remarkable woman.

Family was very important to Antoniette. As a loving and caring mother, she raised 2 wonderful sons Eric and Thomas. She was a good wife, supportive sister, terrific daughter and a fun aunt. Family get togethers was important to her.

 She worked hard to make a life for herself. Working a full-time job while putting herself through college, she earn a degree in Finance. Antoniette had several occupations throughout her life, but helping the elderly was her calling, all through her life she selflessly helped others. She rescued and gave a loving home to many dogs and cats and she put others before herself.

Antoniette had a wonderful sense of humor and she loved to have fun. Gardening was a passion, collecting seeds from around the world and planting them in her garden. She was an amazing cook, sharing her food with family and friends. She also took a cake decorating class, trying to fatten us up with her weekly cakes!  As a talented seamstress she made clothes for herself and others. 

Antoinette is survived by her loving sons, Eric and Thomas Koshykar, her mother Giovannna Colucci, her siblings,
Louis Colucci, Victoria Colucci Vicidomini of Pequannock NJ, Kim Stoller Ryan and Troy Stoller of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and many cherished family members and friends.

Today her physical life’s journey ends here, but her spirit remains. She was and always will be deeply loved and greatly missed.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 6pm - 8pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. All other services will be private.
