Barbara Ann Keosian

Barbara Anna (Fischer) Keosian, age 94, of Cedar Crest, formerly of Bloomingdale, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Mrs. Keosian was born in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Freidrich Wilhelm and the late Barbara Anna (Simmrock) Fischer. She graduated from Central High School in Hawthorne NJ in 1947.

Following high school, Barbara worked for several years in the General Accounting group at the NJ Bell Telephone Company and later became a successful Beauty Advisor for Avon selling products to residents in and around her Bloomingdale, NJ home.

Always interested in athletics, Barbara and her late husband John Keosian enjoyed following the sporting events their children and grandchildren participated in. They both were long time members of Newton Country Club in Newton, NJ and loved golfing and socializing with their many friends at the club.

Barbara is survived by her beloved children, James Robert, David John and wife Kim, Richard Alan and wife Jackie and five cherished grandchildren, Eric and wife Amy, Ellyn and husband Georges, Matthew, Daniel and Christopher.

A private family memorial service will be held at a future date.
