Barbara Van Ness

Barbara Van Ness, of Kinnelon, NJ, formerly of Harrison, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 22, 2021. Barbara was born in Jersey City, the daughter of the late Alphonse and Gussie (Ebercohn) Tino. Barbara loved to cook and bake and took great joy in being with family. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lanore McDonagh and her husband Dennis and Valerie DePalma and her husband Paul, five adored grandchildren, Ryan and Sean McDonagh, Larissa Maurer, Danielle Wagner and her husband Rob and Anthony DePalma and his wife Gretchen and one beloved great granddaughter, Kylie Rose Dixon. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Roger in 2015. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 5:00pm also on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the funeral home. Final disposition will be private. The new limit on indoor gatherings for facilities is 50% of the maximum allowable building occupancy. Morrison Funeral Home will be able to accept 50 people at a time wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Visitors will be required to use hand sanitizer. Temperatures will be taken. .
