Bethany Ann Cox

On the morning of November 5, 2022, Bethany "Bet Bet" Ann Cox, resident of Butler, NJ, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27. Bethany was born on April 14, 1995 to Deborah and Mark Cox in Paterson, NJ. She is predeceased by her father, Mark Cox, uncle, John Norman, and maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather. She is survived by her mother, Deborah Cox, older sister, Sarah Kishbaugh, brother-in-law, Timothy Kishbaugh, niece, Hailey Kishbaugh, aunt, Diane Hughes, uncle, James Hughes, aunt, Jody Norman, uncle, Ronald Norman, and many beloved cousins, friends, and extended family members.

Bethany touched the lives of everyone she met. From her peaceful smile, to her sincere happiness and contagious laugh, she was the light in every room. Her determination to live life in its purest form is an inspiration to all those she touched. Bethany was unique in every way, and inspired every person who knew her to take every moment and live it to the fullest. She was always smiling, laughing, and happy to be around people.

Bethany endured more than many people can in their lifetime. She was a known miracle, a fighter, and a blessing to the lives she touched. If Bethany could tell us anything now, she would tell us to never take a moment for granted and that everything will be “alright”. Bethany’s memory will forever live on by the impact she has made to her family, friends, and everyone she has met along the way.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler. Mass will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Lincoln Park on Wednesday, November 9 at 10:30am. Bethany will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Butler. She will forever be loved, adored, and remembered as a Saint.
