Betty J. Charles

CHARLES- Betty J. (nee Lawrence), of Kinnelon, NJ, on February 23, 2006, in her 84th year. Devoted wife of the late William. Beloved mother of Randall and his late wife Anna Marie, Nancy Deinzer and husband Christopher, and Doug and his wife Cindy. Cherished grandmother of Lucinda Charles, and Samantha Charles. Betty was a member of Riverdale Womens Club, Riverdale Women's Bowling League, Smoke Rise Laurel Guild, Smoke Rise Womens Club, Smoke Rise Community Church, Smoke Rise Sailing Club, and the Smoke Rise Tennis Club. She was the Barbizon Modeling Agency's top model from 1938-1941. Betty served as Executive Secretary to the Provost Marshall, Port of N.Y., during WWII. Betty was the niece of the late Major League Baseball player "Goose" Gosling, and enjoyed working with ceramics as a hobbie. Family and friends are invited to the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ, on Saturday, February 25th, 2006, from 1 to 5pm for a Memorial service.
