Betty Toye Silvain

Betty Robinson Toye Silvain passed away on January 2, 2025 in Pompton Plains, NJ. Betty was born on April 5th, 1927 to Freeman and Grace A. Robinson. 

Betty spent most of her life as a mother and caregiver to her children, grandchildren, and numerous foster children. She also worked as an office manager for various healthcare offices, buther true passion was caring for her family.

Betty is survived by 2 daughters and 2 sons, Betsy M. Snook of Hamilton Township, NJ, Martha L. Baldwin (Gary) of Glenwood, NJ, Clayton W Toye “Ace” (Marguerite) of Kinnelon, NJ, Clifford A Toye of Cape Coral, FL and her daughter-in-law Priscilla Dane Toye. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clayton W Toye Jr., her second husband Albert Silvain, her oldest son Geoffrey W. Toye, and granddaughter Bethany Toye. She is also survived by 13grandchildren, Rachael Toye Sneyers, Geoffrey W Toye Jr., Joshua P Llanso, Sarah (Llanso) Shadell and Elissa Snook, Adam Baldwin, Gary Baldwin II., Clayton W Toye IV, triplets, Jon, Chris and Noelle Toye, Justin Toye and Ashley Toye. Betty also had 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on January 5, 2025 at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home in Butler NJ at 11 am with a graveside service to follow. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Betty’s life.
