Carol Ann Wikfors

On Monday, August 30th, 2021, at approximately 11 oclock in the morning, the world lost a beautiful soul, mother, wife, and sister in Mrs. Carol Ann Wikfors after a year and a half battle with cancer. Born on July 8th, 1962 to John and Erma Carroll in Pequannock Township, New Jersey Carol grew up hand-in-hand with her younger sister, Colleen Rotunda, in Bloomingdale, New Jersey. Carol graduated from Butler High School in 1980 and eventually ended up marrying her high school sweetheart and best friend, Steven Wikfors, of Butler, New Jersey, on October 22nd, 1983. They both lived happily together in Butler until she passed. Carol could be described as a renaissance woman, taking interests and careers in hairdressing, massage therapy, interior design, and baking, of which she loved the most. Carol will be remembered by her cookies, her beautiful smile, some Irish stubbornness, but most of all for the love of her two boys, Ryan and Kyle, both of whom she called "my greatest achievements." Carol is survived by her husband, Steven, her sons Ryan and Kyle, her sister Colleen, and her nieces and nephews, Nicole, Jake, Matthew, and Jason. In lieu of flowers, the Wikfors family asks that any donations be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Carols name, as although she battled cancer, her hope and wish was that no child will ever have to. www.stjude.com There will be a celebration of Carols life on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at the Butler United Methodist Church located at 5 Bartholdi Ave in Butler.
