Carolyn Ann Struble

Carolyn Ann Struble (aka Cookie) age 78 passed away at her home in Butler, NJ November 1st, 2020. Carolyn was born on May 6th, 1942 in Bainbridge, NY outside of Oneonta to Frank and Mary Dominger. She was raised in West Milford, NJ and attended Butler High School in Butler, NJ where she met her best friend and the love of her life Floyd Struble. After graduating high school, she settled in West Milford, NJ with Floyd where they had 3 children Floyd, Carolyn, and Francis. Carolyn was a hard-working Mom who worked for Aircraft Radio and was a paralegal before retiring to her property in New York State. Carolyn loved spending time with her husband taking motorcycle trips, her kids, grandkids, friends, and her cat Mittens. She also enjoyed country music, her bowling league, watching westerns, and shopping on QVC. She is survived by her three children Floyd, Carolyn, and Francis, her 6 grandchildren, Paul, Sierra, Amanda, Samantha, Brian, and Melissa, and her brother Jim Fitzgerald. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date when it safe to do so. Carolyn was a breast cancer survivor, so the family is asking in lieu of flowers to make donations in Carolyns name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org .
