Carrie V. Davenport

Carrie V. Davenport, age 91, of Butler, on Monday, August 18, 2014. Mrs. Davenport was born in Kinnelon, NJ, the daughter of the late Norman and the late Gussie (Miller) Van Zile. She worked for NSK Corp. in Wayne as a line worker before retiring, was a long time member of the Church of the Nazarene in Butler and was a wonderful homemaker and beautiful person who always put her family first. She is survived by one son Dewayne and wife Susan, two daughters, Darlene Dilts and husband Robert, and Dora Davenport, her sisters, Alice Struble and Edna Wright, four cherished grandchildren, Sharon Fahs, Robert Dilts, Amy Mc Clain and Michael Davenport and four adored great grandsons. Carrie was pre deceased by her devoted husband Charles E. Davenport. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral will be held Thursday, August 21st, 2014 11:00am at the Butler Community Nazarene Church, Butler. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler.
