Catherine Lapointe Mitchell

Catherine LaPointe Mitchell, 62, of Lebanon, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 after a long battle with Brain Cancer. Cathy was born in Passaic, NJ and attended Butler High School, graduating in 1976. She then started her career as a Customer Service Rep and worked her way up to a Management Position. She is the daughter of Joseph and Josephine LaPointe (nee Corso) and the sister of Sue, Tim, Patrick, Tom and Buck. Cathys greatest accomplishment was raising her daughter Allison into the special woman she is today. She was able to see Allison get married into a wonderful family and her husband Sean is more than she could have asked for in a loving partner for her. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Sandy and Janine along with nieces and nephews and their families. A Celebration of Life will be planned once we are able to gather safely. In lieu of flowers, we ask that all donations be made to the Bloomingdale Fire Department, PO Box 211, Bloomingdale, NJ 07403 or the Knights of Columbus, 65 Hamburg Turnpike, Butler, NJ 07405. .
