Catherine M. Jany

Catherine M. Jany, formerly Catherine M. Eddy, age 100, of Bloomingdale, Passaic and Beverly Hills, Fla., died Sunday, March 12, 2017. Mrs. Jany was born in Passaic, NJ the daughter of the late William H, and the late Mary (McDevitt) Coffey. She worked for Becton Dickinson in East Rutherford before retiring and was an avid bowler. Catherine loved to sing, dance and read. She is survived by her beloved son, Gerald W. Eddy and wife Jean, her cherished grandchildren, Gerald W. Eddy Jr. and wife Michelle, Michael C. Eddy and wife Ellen, Craig W. Van Loan and wife Tammy, Denise A. Horton, and husband Michael and Bryan C. Van Loan and wife Dana, nine adored great grandchildren and is also survived by two nieces. Catherine was pre deceased by her two devoted husbands, Charles E. Eddy and Joseph E. Jany and her two loving children, Thomas C. Eddy and Judith C. Van Loan. Viewing hours will be held Sunday, March 19th, 2017, from 3:00-7:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday 10:30am at St. Anthony's R.C. Church.
