Catherine Margroff-Ducceschi

Catherine Margroff-Ducceschi, 73, of Ringwood, NJ, passed away on January 10, 2017. She was born in Paterson, NJ, daughter of the late Ivan and Lorretta (Weir) Ducceschi. She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Ringwood, the Ringwood Ambulance Auxiliary and was also well known as "Christie the Clown", who performed many birthday parties locally. She also started the Young World Puppeteers that participated in many local community events. Catherine also helped run a program called Safety Kids, which taught kids the dangers of drugs & alcohol. She worked at the Christian Healthcare Center as a nurse before retiring. Catherine is survived by her beloved children Robert Margroff and his wife Karen, Kevin Margroff, Scott Margroff and his wife Diane and Patrick Margroff and his wife Melissa. Her loving siblings, Charlotte Redding and Richard Ducceschi, eight cherished grandchildren and five adored great grandchildren. Catherine was predeceased by her former husband, Robert Margroff and a granddaughter Katie Lynn. Viewing hours will be held on Thursday, January 12 from 6 to 9pm at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler NJ. A funeral service will be held 8 PM also on Thursday at the funeral home.
