Catherine Mckenny Yerkes

Catherine McKenny Yerkes, age 90, of Riverdale, NJ, passed away March 7, 2016. Catherine was born in Bloomingdale, NJ the daughter of the late John P. and the late Emma (Weaver) McKenny. She was a member of the Riverdale senior citizens club for more than 25 years, a parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church in Pompton Lakes and will be remembered as a devoted Catholic and a beautiful person, who loved her family and friends. She is survived by three beloved children, Denny McKenny, Joseph Yerkes, Thomas Yerkes and wife Joann, six cherished grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her devoted husband Joseph. Viewing hours will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A mass will be offered Friday 1:30 PM at St. Anthony's RC Church also in Butler. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Butler NJ.
