Charles "Chip" Haller, 57, of Kinnelon, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Mahwah, NJ. Chip was the cherished son of Charles E. Haller and the late Eleanor M. Haller of Kinnelon, NJ. He was the loving and devoted father of Michael C. Haller, Butler, NJ, Kimberley A. Haller, Carlow, Ireland, Valerie Haller, Beachwood, NJ, and Casey Rae Haller, Mt. Airy, NC. He leaves his precious grandchildren Dylan, Conor, and Cara. He is survived by his sisters Carolyn Haller, Debra-Lynn Lee, and his brother Mark Haller. Chip was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, and leaves many cousins, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William C. Haller and Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Hoffman. Chip was born on April 5, 1955 and grew up in Fair Lawn, NJ. He graduated from Kinnelon High School in 1973. He was a 1978 graduate of the RI School of Photography, Providence, RI. Chip began his career as the owner of a photography business. He had a "keen eye" for color, and was a master at his craft. From 1996-2003 he advanced his career to a Reprographics Production Manager/Designer for several major digital reprographic facilities in NYC. Chip then embarked on an electrical career working on various commercial projects in NC and NJ. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and computer games, but he received the most joy spending time with his beloved children and grandchildren. Chip will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral arrangements were made by Morrison Funeral Home, Butler, NJ. In lieu of flowers, a remembrance to the American Heart Association would be most kind.
