Charles J. " Chuck" Meier , 46 of Shiloh, GA died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Satilla Hospital in Waycross, GA.A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Manchester with Father Kevin Hargeden officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be Calvary Cemetery in Butler, NJ 11:00 AM Saturday May 28, 2011. The family will receive friends at Morrison Funeral Home from 7:00- 9:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral Home.Mr. Meier was born July 15, 1964 in Okinawa, Japan the son of John Charles Meier and Lorna Snipes Meier. He was a self employed craftsman and a graduate of William Paterson College. Chuck was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the Flint Hill Fire Department and the President Theatre Community Arts Society. He was a past president of the Butler N. J. Volunteer Fire Department. Chuck was involved with Society of Creative Anachranism ( SCA) the Rusted Woodland Chapter, Avegost, Dagorhir. He was the preceded in death by his brother Richard Paul Meier.He is survived by his parents Jack and Lorna Meier of Shiloh, companion Terri Garvey of Shiloh, cousins Carolyn Dawn Brown and Mellanie Slay both of Manchester and Vaughn Slay of Newnan.In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be given in memory of Charles J. Chuck Meier to the President Theatre P. O. Box 353 Manchester, GA 31816
