Charles Snyder

Charles Snyder, age 79, of Succasunna, formerly of Bloomingdale, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Compassionate Care Hospice of Dover.Mr. Snyder was born July 27, 1927 at Bloomingdale, NJ the son of the late William and the late Hazel (Miller) Snyder. He served in the Army from 1945 to 1948 during Peace Time, and retired as a Butcher from the A & P Supermarket ,Wayne, NJ, in 1989.Mr. Snyder was a member of Bloomingdale Hook & Ladder Fire Co., where he reached Deputy Chief.Devoted husband of the late Gloria (nee Hennion). Devoted father of Charles Jonathan and his long time companion Linda Mackin. Cherished grandfather of Charles J Snyder Jr., Ross Snyder, Dennis Mackin, and Jennifer Mackin. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 3rd , 2007, from 3:00 to 5:00pm, and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be Friday 10:30am also at the funeral home.Burial will follow the service at Miller Cemetery, Kinnelon on Friday at 11:15 am.
