Christopher J Zittel

Christopher J. Zittel age 72, of West Milford, formerly of Butler, NJ passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2022. Christopher was born in West Orange, NJ to the late Raymond and Mary (Marra) Zittel. Chris was employed with the US Postal Service in Newark, NJ as a Postal Police Officer before retiring. He was a former parishioner of St. Anthony Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus in Butler, NJ, and enjoyed studying World War II history. Chris is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years Catherine (Mangieri) Zittel, loving daughter, Mary Zittel, and adored grandchildren Avianna and Noah. Also surviving are his brother Raymond Zittel and his wife Thea, sister Mary Ellen Zittel, his nephew Daniel Zittel and his wife Janet, and niece Kimberly Zittel.
