Claude C. Post, Jr., age 82, of West Milford and Butler, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Milford Manor, West Milford.Mr. Post was born March 11, 1924 in Butler, N.J. the son of the late Claude and the late Mary (Brautigan) Post. He married Eleanor R. Lake at the Methodist Church In Binghamton, NY.He served in the Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1946 during World War II.He was the owner of Post Radio & T.V. Butler, NJ.Mr. Post was a past Mayor and Councilman of Butler, Past Commander of the VFW Geo. P. Siek Post #8096 Butler, and Past President of the Downtown Butler Business Association.Devoted husband of Eleanor (nee Lake) of 61 Years. Beloved father of Keith and his wife Betsi, Marsha Messner and husband Helmut, and Valerie Weston. Cherished grandfather of six, and great-grandfather of seven. Loving brother of Donald Post. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 11th, 2007, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler. The funeral service will be Monday 10:30am also at the funeral home.Burial will be in Mt.
