Craig Steven Hasson

d. February 18, 2021

Craig Steven Hasson, 54, of Butler, NJ, formerly of Bloomingdale, died suddenly on Thursday February 18, 2021. Craig was born on 8/26/1966 in Passaic, NJ. He was the loving son of Toni and the late Len Hasson of Bloomingdale, NJ. Craig grew up among a close-knit family with three siblings, Andrea, Mark & Pam. He was well known throughout the community, and maintained many childhood friendships into adulthood. He graduated from DePaul High School, Wayne, NJ, Class of 1984. Craig was the owner of Diversified Construction, Butler for 13+ years. He also worked for Lakeland Kitchens, Bloomingdale and previously for Jeffreys & Lutjen Kitchens & Baths, Pompton Plains. Craig got his start with his brother-in-law Rich of Natale Construction, Vernon. He was a third-degree member of The Knights of Columbus #943, Butler. Craig had a great sense of humor and loved being around family and friends. He enjoyed any number of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, tending to his yard and just simply relaxing on his deck. Craig was a skilled carpenter who was passionate about his work. He always said "there is nothing I cant do". He took great pride in the quality of his craft and in mastering new skills. Craig was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends. Above all else, Craig loved his wife Tina and was endlessly proud of their children. He was a devoted Father who never missed a family event. In 2017 he coached his son Ryans Tri Boro Little League baseball team to win the District 2 Championship. He supported his daughter Casey at all of her dance recitals and cheer performances. Most recently, Craig enjoyed welcoming the newest addition to their family: adopting a puppy named Dakota. Craig is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Tina (Hulme), children Ryan Steven and Casey Marie, Mother Toni Hasson, Mother-in-law Evelyn Hulme, and siblings, Andrea Redfield (& Mark), Mark Hasson, Pam Natale, & in-laws Pam & Greg Giacchi. Also surviving are his treasured nieces & nephews: David, Anna, Richard, Ashlee (Chris), Matthew, Marco, Christopher, Anthony, & great-nephew Liam.
