Dan O'Dougherty

Dan O'Dougherty Sr., age 89, of Pompton Plains, NJ, formerly of Highland Lakes, NJ died Sunday, March 29, 2015. Dan was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Harold St. Leo and Gabrielle (Sicotte) O'Dougherty. Dan was a Merchant Marine Veteran during WWII, he was a master carpenter owing his own business before working for the City of New York Health and Hospitals Corp. and was an avid fisherman and pool player. Dan is survived by his devoted wife of 65 loving years, Winifred "Winnie" O'Dougherty, his beloved children, Dan Jr., and wife Catherine, Vickie Anne O'Dougherty, Peter and wife Diane, Jean McGloin and husband James, David and Wife Susan and Thomas and wife Lisa, seventeen cherished grandchildren, six adored great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing hours will be 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015. A funeral mass will be offered 12:00pm on Wednesday also at the Church. The final disposition will be private.
