Dania Dorram, 89, of Riverdale, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Dania was a graduate student of Carnegie Mellon University and Boston University. She received undergraduate and graduate degrees in Music and Teaching. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Dania emigrated to the United States to pursue her education and career. She was a concert pianist, Hebrew School teacher and devoted mother. Dania resided in Riverdale, NJ for the past 58 years. Dania had a love for cultural arts, her dog, her town and neighbors; and was a caring and gracious person. She is survived by her loving daughters Sabra Frankel, Sharon Dorram Krause, and Dawn Fembleaux, her son-laws, Sheldon Frankel and Damian Krause and her cherished seven loving grandchildren, Daniel Frankel, Kobi Frankel, Zachary Fembleaux, Haley Fembleaux, Jared Fembleaux, Sofia Krause and Nicholai Krause. She will be sorely missed and is greatly loved by her family. In lieu of flowers it is requested that a tree be planted in her memory at the Jewish National Fund Tree Planting Center www.jnf.org/jnf-tree-planting-center. Arrangements were entrusted to The Morrison Funeral Home, Butler, NJ.
