Danny shared a special bond with his niece, Millie, and nephew, Desi, and maintained close relationships with his uncle’s Jon Van Orden his wife Kathy, Rich Van Orden, and his aunt, Arlene Papper and her husband Marty, as well as many beloved cousins.

Alongside his career in music, Danny was passionately dedicated to arts education in New Jersey. As part of the Educational Arts Team, he shaped the lives of young students by teaching arts-integrated curricula and leading workshops in acting, theater improv, magic, and puppetry. His heart and soul were evident in the co-creation of “The Backyard Players,” a beloved after-school puppet series, and his commitment to Camp Liberty, an arts-based summer program in Jersey City for the past decade, reflecting his belief in the transformative power of the arts.
