Diana T. Lampe

Diana T. Lampe, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on July 8, 1932, in Jersey City, NJ, Diana was a woman whose spirit was as vibrant as her unforgettable personality.

She grew up in Coytesville, NJ, and was a proud graduate of Ft. Lee High School. Diana first made her mark in the professional world as a dedicated secretary at AT&T. However, her most cherished role was that of a loving homemaker, where she devoted herself to raising her family. Her nurturing nature shone brightly as she instilled warmth and kindness into the lives of everyone she met. Later, she returned to the workforce, contributing her talents at the Suburban Trends, but it was in her home where she truly excelled at creating a loving environment.

Diana's life was marked by her deep love for her family. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Helen Lampe, Jeanne Marie Pelcher (Mike),  Ruthann Wry (Chip) and  Judy Fitzpatrick (Mike). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Samantha O'Malley (John), Kelly McTague (Pat), Michael Fitzpatrick (Melissa), Kailey Fitzpatrick, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Abigail Wry, and Sydney Wry. Diana was also a proud great-grandmother, finding immense joy in her great-grandchildren, Liam, Maeve, and Tessa McTague, Elaina Fitzpatrick, and Macklin O'Malley.

Diana's passions included sewing, where her creativity came alive as she crafted special occasion dresses. A gifted cook, she loved to entertain, bringing family and friends together around her kitchen table. Bingo nights were a favorite pastime, showcasing her playful spirit and love for friendly competition. She was also deeply involved in her community, being a key component in the cleanup efforts of Oakwood Lake in Bloomingdale, NJ, as well as participating in the Bloomingdale Youth Organization, always striving to make a positive impact.

In her passing, Diana joins her late husband, Kenwood, and her beloved parents, John and Ruth (Mueller) Manning. Their memory lives on in the countless lives she touched throughout her enriching journey.

Diana will be lovingly remembered during visitation and funeral services taking place at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc. in Butler, NJ, on January 14, 2025. Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM.

As we gather to celebrate Diana’s life, we reflect on the love, laughter, and lasting memories she leaves behind. Her presence will be sorely missed, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for those who were fortunate to know her.
