Dolores Salvati

Dolores Salvati (Dee), age 75, of Kinnelon died Monday, November 15, 2021. Dee was born in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late John and the late Elizabeth (Hogan) Leobold. Dee was a devoted wife, an amazing homemaker, and a tireless mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook, specializing in Italian delicacies, no small feat for an Irish- German girl. Her lifes passion was to care for her husband and family, which she did selflessly for her entire life. Dee and her husband Harry were high school sweethearts, who loved to travel - especially for weekends at Villa Roma and the Jersey Shore. Above all, they just loved to be with each other. Dee is survived by her beloved children, Mary Lawler and husband Mike, Lorraine Giannella and husband John and Harry Salvati and wife Nicole. A loving sister, Arlene Loreng and husband Walter, brother-in-law, John Brugaletta, sister-in-law, Marilyn Salvati, her cherished grandchildren, Doug and fianc Kasey, Anthony, Arielle, Gabriella, Michael, Michaela, Christopher, Nicholas and loving nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her devoted husband, Harry, sister Betty Brugaletta, brothers-in-law, Ralph and Tony Salvati and sister-in-law, Mary Salvati. Viewing hours will be held Thursday, November 18th, 2021, from 4pm to 8pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered Friday, 10am at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church, Kinnelon, NJ. Burial will follow in Our Lady of The Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon, NJ. .
