Donald Strobel

Donald Strobel, age 84, of West Milford, NJ, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Mr. Strobel was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Benjamin and the late Nellie (Marciszyn) Strobel. He served in the Army, was employed by PAN AM in Jamaica, NY as a Jet Mechanic and was a model trains and railroad enthusiast. Beloved father of Dawn Strobel-Payne and Keith Strobel and wife Val. Cherished grandfather of Jenna, Bethany, Valmaria and Mia. Don was predeceased by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Jane Strobel (nee Mansmann). Viewing hours will be Friday, May 10th, 2019, from 4 pm to 8 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30 am, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
