Doris Jones

Doris Jones, age 98, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Born in Pompton Lakes, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Eva Romain. Doris was a former member of the Church of God in Butler and worked for the Butler Board of Education in the cafeteria as a baker and she was known for having one of the best tasting cookies at the school. She is survived by her beloved children, Bud Jones and wife Thea, Bob Jones and wife Ginny and Ginger Amero, her loving sister, Martha Struble, her six cherished grandchildren, Amy Bennett and husband Randy, Greg Jones and wife Mattea, Daryl Jones and wife Bridget, Darryn Murphy and husband BJ, Melissa Latronica and husband Joe and Paul Amero and 10 cherished great-grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her loving husband Harold Sr. Viewing will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM at the Morrison funeral home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday 9 AM also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa, NJ.
