Doris M. Brown

Doris M. Brown, age 86, of Butler, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, December 10, 2017. Mrs. Brown was born in Bloomingdale, NJ the daughter of the late Chester and the late Helen (Morgan) Van Orden. She was a clerk for State Farm Insurance in Wayne, NJ before retiring. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Bloomingdale Baptist Church, Bloomingdale, NJ and Trustee of the Sunday School. Beloved mother of Sue Ann Weslowski and husband Lewis, Jane Morse and husband Bruce, Beverly Sheehan and husband Larry, Kenneth Edward Brown and wife Karen, and Leonard S. Brown and wife Sharon. Cherished grandmother of Janelle Morse, Amy Meyer, Scott Morse, and Kelly R. Brown. Loving sister of Pat Van Orden, Betty Barrett, Helen Rupp, Gloria Broughman and Gail Mathews. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her devoted husband Edward. Viewing hours will be Thursday, December 14, 2017, from 4 pm to 8 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be Friday 11 am, also at the funeral home.
