Doris Martin

Doris Martin, age 87, of West Milford, formerly of Butler, peacefully entered the kingdom of heaven on Saturday, March 2, 2013. She is survived by her beloved children, Lois Chiosse of Pompton Plains, Denise Leone of West Milford, Lynn Woodcock of Pompton Lakes, Ed Martin of Oak Ridge and Kathy Van Seeters of Brodheadsville, PA, 12 cherished grandchildren and seven adored great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Richard Martin, her dear son Joseph Martin, a grandson Joseph Martin, her parents Louis and Hazel Trigler and two brothers, Louis and Charles Trigler. Doris was a lifelong resident of Butler before moving to West Milford. She had worked for many years at Grand Union and Stop & Shop before retiring and she was dearly loved by family and friends and will be deeply missed. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 4pm to 7 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held 7 PM on Thursday, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of New Jersey 224 Hamburg Turnpike, 6th floor, Wayne ,NJ in her memory.
