Dorothea J. Aronica

Dorothea J Aronica, age 75, of Butler, formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, died Thursday, April 17, 2014. Mrs. Aronica was born in New York City the daughter of the late Henry and the late Myrtle (Sisco) Boob. She was a former manager at the Bloomingdale sweet shop and in previous years she coached girls softball for the Bloomingdale Recreation Department. She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Jo Ann Emker ,son in law Richard Emker and Lisa Aronica, daughter in law Danielle Aronica and her loving sister, Sharon Sprague, two cherished grandchildren, Ian and Justin and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Dorothea was pre deceased by her devoted husband, Nicholas, two adored sons, Joseph and Nicholas R. and two dear sisters, Delores Garder and Iona Kimont. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014 from 11am to 2pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Tuesday 2pm also at the funeral home. The Repass will be at Butler Methodist church after services. All other services will be held in private.
