Dorothy Collier-Warburton (nee Bradervalt), 92, of Lakewood, NJ formerly of Kinnelon passed away on September 18, 2013. Born in Paterson, NJ, Dorothy lived in Kinnelon for the first 73 years of her life before moving to Lakewood in 1974. She worked at Aircraft Radio in Boonton during WWII while her first husband, William M Collier served in the Pacific. On his return they moved to the Fayson Lakes section of Kinnelon. Dorothy was a devoted homemaker while her children were small. She worked in the library in Stonybrook School, Kinnelon in the late 1950's, as the office manager for William M Collier & Associates in the 1960's and 1970's and the office manager for the English Steel Mill, J.B. & S Lees in the 1970's and 1980's until her retirement in the 1986. She is survived by her sons, William M Collier and his wife Evelyn of West Milford, and Jake Collier of Oak Ridge, five grandchildren, Ryan, Hallie, Kevin, Alex and Tracey and one great grandchild, Jayden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents John Alexander and Matilda Frances Bradervalt, her sisters, Virginia Chambers and Olive Dickens, her first husband, William M Collier (former Mayor of Kinnelon) and her second husband, Frederick Warburton. A Memorial Gathering will be held, Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 4:30 PM also on Saturday, September 28th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a contribution will be appreciated at the Bloomingdale Animal Shelter, 23 Brandt Lane, Bloomingdale, NJ 07403 in Dorothy's memory.
