Dr. Rene F. Ruiz

Dr. Rene F. Ruiz was 89 years old at the time of his passing. He graduated from the Universidad de la Habana Law School in 1955. He left Cuba in 1967, for political reasons, with his wife Osaida and his two daughters, Rebeca and Cristina. He taught Spanish at Kinnelon High School for 31 years and was the Chairman of the Language Department. After his retirement from Kinnelon High School, he taught Spanish at St. Anthony of Padua in Butler NJ until 2011. A funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, August 28, 2021, 1:00pm at St. Anthony RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. The final disposition will be private.
