Earl “Billy” Hunter

EARL "BILLY" HUNTER CELEBRATION OF LIFE "Billy" as he was affectionally known entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born April 11, 1963, in Bronx, New York to the late Charlie Hunter and Mary Ella Henderson. He was educated in the New York City School system where he graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and from there went on to study Criminal Justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He worked as a paralegal for a few New York City law firms before relocating to Lithonia, Georgia. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, caregiver, and protector. Billy enjoyed family get-togethers, working on cars, discussing religion, politics, and conspiracy theories. He was a kind and loving spirit who was always lending a helping hand. He would not hesitate to give someone his last. Billy has 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a large family, and many friends who loved him dearly. He always had great insight, advice and a listening ear when needed. He leaves to cherish his memory daughters She-niqua and PoTeea, son in law Micheal Sr. Leah and Nasline. Grandchildren Versace, Shamya, Johnna, Darnasia, River, Michael II and great grandson Nyoire; Aunts, Willie Clara, Ann and Daisy; Siblings: Ira (Carolyn), Dorothy, Marie, Larry, Sharon, Annette (Ford) Laura Ann, Douglas and Thomas. He had a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. Earl is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Hunter and Mary Ella Henderson, 3 siblings, James Franklin, Mary, Roy, and brother-in-law Tony. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED .
