Earl Howard "Bud" Palmer, Jr., age 87, of Bloomingdale, NJ, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Wanaque Convalescent Center. Born in Woodsville, NH, he came to the Paterson-Bloomingdale area in the 1950's. He was a machinist at Gemini Plastic of Garfield for 30 years retiring in 2008. After his retrement he was employed by the Bloomingdale Board of Education as a school bus driver. Mr Palmer was a Army veteran of World World II. He was pre deceased by his wife, the former Shirley (Weymouth) in 2008 and a son, Dale in 1972. He is survived by 4 sons, Howard, Michael, Peter and Scott Palmer and 2 daughters, Sharon De Young and PatriciaLees, 10 grandchildren, 2 greatgrand children and 1 great great grandchild. Also surviving is a sister, Theresa Milhalko. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pmat The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment immediately following at Garden of Memories, Washington Township, NJ.
