Edward A. “Red” Pugh

July 9, 1962 — September 6, 2023

Edward A. “Red” Pugh, age 61, of West Milford passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Mr. Pugh was born July 9, 1962, in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Rexford and the late Margaret D. Pugh. Red was a commercial boiler technician working for Manhattan Welding in Hillside, NJ. He loved motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and quads. He also liked to watch NASCAR, the New York Rangers and cowboy and western movies. Red will always be remembered for his love of family and friends.


He is survived by his devoted wife of seventeen loving years, Geralynn (Musall) Pugh, his beloved children, Garry Pugh and partner Amber Apfelbaum, Aaron Proctor and fiancé Camryn Kaldrovics, Courtney McGuinness and husband Joe, Kimberly Sugar and husband Joe Schreiber  and Michele Ryan and husband Danny, his dear siblings, Bruce Pugh and wife Brooke, Beth Pugh and Mark Pugh, his cherished grandchildren, Payton Sugar, Madison Boynton, Kaylee Bruner, Shay McGuinness, and Raegan McGuinness. Also surviving our many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his loving brother Glen Pugh.


Visiting hours will be Monday, September 11, 2023 from 1pm-9pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. All other services are private.
