Edward B. Spellmon

Edward B. Spellmon, age 85, passed away on July 14, 2016.He was a resident of Bloomingdale and was born in Patterson, son of the late Charles and mary Spellmon. Ed was a parishioner of Saint Anthony's RC Church, a Korean War veteran with two bronze stars, a member of the American legion and worked as a house painter and for the department of public works in Bloomingdale. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, of 62 years, Isabel C. Spellmon, his three beloved sons, Michael Spellmon Thomas Spellmon and scott Spellmon and his wife Scherice, his loving siblings, Frank Spellmon and Elsie Bloom, four cherished grandchildren and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held Sunday, July 17 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Morrison funeral home 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday 10 AM at Saint Anthony's RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery Butler, NJ.
