Edward C. Lyddon, Jr., age 84, of Butler, formerly of Teaneck, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.Mr. Lyddon was born February 11, 1923 in North Bergen, NJ, the son of the late Edward W. Sr., and the late Lillian (Yeager) Lyddon He married Anita Anna Schmidkunz September 25, 1948 in North Bergen, NJ. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1946 during World War II .He was employed by Local Printers Union #1 NY,NY, as a Lithographer.Mr. Lyddon was a member of the VFW of Hasbrouck Heights.Devoted husband of Anita Anna (nee Schmidkunz). Beloved father of Anita Errick and husband Leonard. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth and Christopher. Loving brother of Marie Helm and husband Charles. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 26th ,2007, from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday, 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave., Butler where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated.Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler on Tuesday at 11:00 am.
